How we started:
Hi, I’m Sylvia McDonald, the owner/operator of Mi Casa Su Casa in Montgomery, TX. Boss Babes Brunch began as a tiny seedling of a prayer deeply planted on my heart when we opened our venue’s doors three years ago. New to the area, with only a handful of friends and seeking a community of like-minded women, I decided to host our first-ever Boss Babes Brunch in June of 2022. With no idea what to expect, feeling beyond nervous that no one would show up, I said a BIG PRAYER, opened our doors, popped the champagne, thus began the this passion project DREAM of mine- BOSS BABES BRUNCH.
Where we are going:
Since our first brunch in June 2022, Boss Babes has experienced incredible growth, and we are committed to continuing on this inspiring path. In 2025, we’re creating a dedicated team of Board Members who will help bring our mission to life each month by hosting beautiful brunches filled with delicious food, meaningful connections, and intentional experiences.
Future Dreams:
Hosting professional speakers to share expertise on various aspects of business and personal growth and development.
Expanding our reach to connect with more women in the community, offering them a true sense of belonging.
Introducing childcare services to make our events more accessible for all attendees.
Creating great monthly events that nurture women; mind, body, & spirit.

We understand that attending for the first time can feel a little intimidating, but we promise you'll feel a sense of welcome and belonging. And yes, you're welcome to bring a friend!

One of our biggest goals is to keep these events free and easily accessible to everyone. We kindly ask that you RSVP before each month's event to ensure we have plenty of brunch and supplies prepared.

At this time, we neither encourage nor discourage children from attending. Our aim is to keep the environment focused and intentional, so if you have accessible childcare, we strongly encourage you to use it. However, we understand childcare isn’t always available, so please don’t let that stop you from coming. In the near future, we hope to offer childcare services for a small fee.
